On our regular Tuesday morning sales tour we had the great privilege to see and enjoy the new homes at The Crossings.  These homes are listed by Nina Zotov of Kline May Realty and were much more than I expected.  I was pleasantly surprised by these modestly priced homes.  Located on Landon Drive, they are centrally located and close to everything. If you love to work out at the Wellness Center in Harrisonburg, these homes are very close by.

With a beautiful mixture of exterior materials like brick, stone, and vinyl, these homes are different and have great curb appeal.  The exteriors are as lovely as the interiors.

 Low Low Fixed Interest Rates, Great Prices, Great Selection

Interest rates at less than 4.75 for 30 years, lots of great buys at every price point, make this time the best time to buy a home. Where’s the catch? Well here are four. 

• One – If you have a home to sell before you purchase the home you wish to buy, you might find that it is difficult if you don’t price your current home right and make sure it is the best buy out there. (It also helps to have the right company marketing it too.) 
• Two - Credit issues will be magnified for a purchase of a home today especially if you don’t have -a la Joe Biden- “a lot of skin in the game” meaning a large down payment.
• Three – If you are so particular about the home you want to buy that you think you must have the “perfect home”… and you want it cheap.
• Four – If your goals are short term and your not willing to keep a home for a long time you might be better renting for a while.

Not withstanding the list above, you can take advantage of the incredible buyers market here in Harrisonburg if you fall into the following categories:

• If you haven’t purchased a home in a while and have a lot of equity in your current home, you could sell quickly and buy equally as fast.
• If you have been a renter for a while and have been able to save a significant amount of money for a down payment and you have great credit there has never been a better time for you to buy.
